How to successfully obtain the prestigious GA ČR Junior Star grant? Jakub Drápal from the Faculty of Law of Charles University shared his experience at the next RMA Breakfast meeting. In addition to practical advice, he stressed the importance of a strong research vision and long-term planning.
On Wednesday 16.04. we hosted an RMA (Project Management and Administration) breakfast within the CENTREPEACE project, which brings together researchers and project support staff over common themes.
The topic of this meeting was writing and obtaining the GA CR Junior Star project, which is a prestigious research funding for junior scientists for up to 5 years. The guest speaker for this meeting was Jakub Drápal from the Faculty of Law, Charles University, who is a successful recipient of this prestigious grant.
In his presentation, Dr. Drápal highlighted the importance of time planning and an overall "higher vision" that helps the project take hold. In addition, he also shared his knowledge and experience in submitting and preparing an ERC project that overlaps thematically with the awarded Junior Star project.
At the same time, the discussion in the session was accompanied by questions from the representatives of the researchers and project support of the Faculty of Social Studies and the Faculty of Law, which focused on the possibilities of mutual exchange of experience.
