Maija Harju

I am a project administrator for the Aleksanteri Institute in the CENTREPEACE project. My tasks include managing communications, arranging events, coordinating between the different participant universities and institutes, and assisting in research. I am also in charge of organizing the Aleksanteri Conference of 2026, which will broadcast the research outputs of the project to the wider public and academic community.

Before working as an assistant at the Aleksanteri Institute, I studied several study modules at the institute. I am graduating with two master's degrees in politics and communication and languages (Ukrainian and Russian). My academic interests cover minority politics, science communication and Ukrainian studies.
