A lawyer interested in the intersection between law and technology. As a doctoral researcher for the RegulAIR project, I'm looking into the safety issues of autonomous civilian drones and their regulatory implications for the EU law.

I have remained associated with the legal field for multiple years as a practitioner as well as an in-house advisor. My research interest particularly lies in the regulatory challenges emanating from the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. As a doctoral researcher for the RegulAIR project, I'm specifically focusing on the safety and security issues of autonomous civilian drones and their regulation from a European perspective. It thus speaks broadly to the challenge of regulating autonomous technologies. The preliminary title of my PhD project is 'Regulation of drone autonomy: implications for the European civil airspace' which is being supervised by Bruno O. Martins and Kristin B. Sandvik.
