Martin Chovančík

I am a researcher and academic at Masaryk University where my projects and publications focus on defence industry, defence cooperation, and the societal dimension of arms production and arms trade. My research expertise is based on modern patterns of defence-industrial cooperation and integration expecially in the European context. I lead the defence industry group of the CENTREPEACE project and participate in two research projects on Central European defence industries. Academicaly, I am the head of the International Relations and European Politics program and I teach international security, peace economics, and theories of conflict.
