I am an Assistant Professor and researcher at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University. I also serve as Vice-Dean for Internationalization and Student Affairs. In the CENTREPEACE project, I lead a research group focused on cognitive warfare.

My research centers on political extremism, radicalization processes in the European context, and propaganda and information warfare. I have published or co-edited several works on these topics, including the book Challenging Online Propaganda and Disinformation in the 21st Century (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021). I am a member of several international expert networks, such as the European Network on Terrorism Issues and the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats.

I have always emphasized the importance of translating research knowledge into practice. I regularly collaborate on education and research activities with both state and non-state security policy stakeholders.
