Last week, Marián Koval, Project Manager of the CENTREPEACE project, visited the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO). The aim of the visit was to exchange good experiences in the field of project preparation and management.
During his visit, a project writing week was organised at PRIO. This gave researchers dedicated time to prepare their research projects and finalise their articles for publication. The week also included lectures where scientists and administrators could learn practical information about project proposals and publications writing. Marián Koval had the opportunity to see how the training of scientists, administrative support and the overall functioning of the Institute are carried out.
He also participated in individual meetings with the Institute's staff, where he was introduced to PRIO's agenda management and administrative processes. He also presented project support processes at Masaryk University.
The visits of the administrative staff within the project are an important element of streamlining the work and support provided. The exchange of experiences enables the introduction of processes that can increase the chances of projects being funded and improve the final project results.
